On February 3, 2024, Hunterdon Central Girls' Basketball Team rallied together for a noble cause, hosting the Hoops for a Cure event in support of Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center. Their efforts resulted in an impressive fundraising total of over $400. The event featured a variety of activities, including a basket raffle, concession sales, and t-shirt offerings, all orchestrated by the team. Adding to the excitement, a live half-court shot contest entertained attendees of all ages. Through their hard work and community spirit, the team triumphed in generating crucial funds to support programs that will allow patients of Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center to receive financial support when their diagnosis has severely impacted their ability to make ends meet.
