The first annual Anne Schafer Swingin' For Pink golf event, held at Copper Hill Country Club in Ringoes, New Jersey, raised $9,460 to support breast cancer care at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center. The event brought together 48 women golfers, along with many other Copper Hill members and staff. Everyone contributed generously to honor the legacy of Anne Schafer, a beloved club member and community advocate who passed away the year after her own battle with cancer.
Anne was known for her warmth and her commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer. Her spirit was felt throughout the day as participants "supported the fighters, admired the survivors, and remembered the angels who never gave up".
All proceeds will go directly to the Cancer Center's Breast Care Fund, providing essential diagnostic testing and treatment to individuals affected by breast cancer who have limited financial resources. Thanks to the generosity of those involved, the fund can continue making a vital difference for those in need.
