Hunterdon Health Auxiliary Hosts Annual Sapphires & Sequins, Raising over $40,000 for Hunterdon Hospice
The Hunterdon Health Auxiliary recently hosted its annual fundraiser, "Sapphires & Sequins: A Charmed Evening" at the prestigious Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, NJ. This women's night out event raised over $40,000 for Hunterdon Hospice which will help fund home health aides, bereavement support, and 24/7 on-call assistance for hospice patients and their families.
The evening commenced with an exclusive VIP hour, where guests enjoyed a signature cocktail and received a complimentary gift, setting the stage for a memorable experience. As attendees moved to the marketplace, they had the pleasure of shopping from a curated selection of local vendors while savoring drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres. The excitement continued with a basket raffle, offering an array of enticing prizes. The highlight of the evening took place in the grand ballroom, where guests enjoyed a gourmet dinner, had the chance to participate in a $1,000 Visa gift card raffle, and were entertained by a stunning fashion show.
The most moving part of the night was when special guest and friend of Hospice, Jim Hoff, shared his heartfelt story about his personal experience with Hunterdon Hospice during his wife's illness. His words underscored the invaluable support provided by the organization and deeply resonated with the audience.
