On Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 7:00 pm the Hunterdon Health Auxiliary hosted its Annual Lights of Love ceremony to brighten the winter skies and the beautiful Hunterdon Health campus. An evergreen tree on the Hunterdon Health campus was illuminated with lights, each representing gifts received from donors to honor or memorialize people who have touched their lives in a special way.
The program included a pre-recorded performance from the North Hunterdon High School Chamber Choir and live music by local musician, Robbie Sko.
This year, the Auxiliary presented the First Inaugural Lights of Love Award to two deserving recipients from Hunterdon Health and the community at large. The recipients were Dr. Arif Hafeez from Hunterdon Family Medicine at Riverfield and Rachel Wenrich-Laul from The Outreach Connection, Inc. They were presented with a certificate and their names will be engraved on a plaque displayed at Hunterdon Medical Center. They were honored for their service, social responsibility, mentorship, and outstanding efforts to serve the community.
Proceeds from Lights of Love benefit services and programs which support patients, visitors, and the Hunterdon community. If you would like to donate a light for our 2023 ceremony, you can make a donation here.
