The demands of caring for an ill loved one or even managing your own chronic health condition can be emotionally, physically, and logistically challenging. Hunterdon Health's Laboratory House calls are available for you or a loved one to have blood work done in the comfort of your own home. House call visits are an in-home phlebotomy service available to anyone, from children to adults. A patient does need to be deemed medically home-bound to take advantage of this service and referred by their provider.
Please note, Medicare patients will need a physician’s order to note that he or she is home-bound in order for this to be a covered service.
Laboratory house calls are available to residents of Hunterdon, Somerset, Warren, and Mercer Counties. Hunterdon Health's Laboratory participates in most insurance plans. A physician’s order is needed for all laboratory work.
