Hunterdon Health, Hunterdon-Mercer Chronic Disease Coalition and NJ CEED will host a Men’s Health Breakfast on Saturday, April 1st at the Salvation Army, 40 East Main Street, Flemington. The event will begin with registration and breakfast from 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. followed by a program from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. This informative program will raise awareness and educate men about disease prevention, timely screenings and healthy lifestyles. Prostate, colorectal cancer and heart disease are leading causes of death for men.

Prostate and Important Cancer Screenings: Brian Sperling, D.O., Urologist Dr. Sperling focuses on all areas of urology care and specializes in men’s health and incontinence concerns. He is currently the Medical Director for Hunterdon Urological Associates and the Bridgewater Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Heart Health: Glen Tonnessen, M.D., Cardiologist Dr. Tonnessen is a cardiologist at Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and vascular medicine. He is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology.
