At approximately 3:30PM, a fire alarm was activated at Hunterdon Medical Center. A fire was identified related to a piece of equipment on the roof. Emergency services were on scene within 3 minutes. Patients and hospital staff were safely evacuated from that area of the facility to other portions of the hospital. There is no smoke or fire inside the hospital at this point in time. We are in the process of contacting all patients’ families. We will continue to update our website and the media as the situation progresses.
