Hunterdon Medical Center and Raritan Township Fire Company will be hosting the 12th Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Sunday, September 8th at the hospital from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The challenge will be to climb the equivalent number of stairs that the FDNY firefighters climbed in the World Trade Center prior to the collapse. This charitable event is meant to honor those who perished and to support those responders still suffering the effects of the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center. The event is open to all firefighters, first responders and community members who would like to participate in the stair climb, which will take place in the parking garage on the campus of Hunterdon Medical Center.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the FEALGood Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to spread awareness and educate the public about the catastrophic health effects of 9/11 first responders, as well as to provide assistance to relieve these great heroes of the financial burdens placed on them.
Registration for individuals is $30 per person and $135 for teams of five people. To register visit this link.
