Hunterdon Health November Employee of the Month - Amy Neumann, LPN
November 16, 2023
We are pleased to announce our November 2023 Employee of the Month is…Amy Neumann, LPN, Scrub Nurse, Maternity & Newborn Care Center.
Here are a few highlights from Amy’s nominations:
Amy is such an asset to our unit. She is reliable, on time every single shift, and is very knowledgeable about our unit. She is often called multiple times a shift to help with patient care, bring equipment, restock, and run to CSR to get supplies. And that is on top of her already many required responsibilities on any given shift. Amy always responds positively, with a smile on her face, and at stressful times, such as a stat c-section, she never gets flustered and always shows respect and remains calm.
Amy is continuously committed to learning on the job and becoming an even better nurse. She willingly takes on extra responsibilities to provide the best care to our patients. She has been seen interacting with patients and families and to watch her with others brings a smile to my face. I always know that when she is working with me that shift is going to be a great one.
Amy is a true asset to our unit. During stressful situations, she is accountable and committed. She constantly stays late and comes in extra to cover unit needs. She is adaptive with her ability to be useful in every area of our unit. Her kindness and compassion are so authentic and endearing. She is a pleasure to work with and a most valuable team player. MNCC and HMC are fortunate to have such an amazing employee.
Amy is accountable and makes sure all rooms are prepared for an emergent event. She is adaptive and is always willing to change her assignments to assist the unit’s needs. She is authentic and gets along with the administration, peers, and patients. She is inclusive and works well with every member of the team. She is committed and will often come in extra when the unit is short.
While Amy is in the labor rooms helping the doctors and nurses, she is also cheering on the patients and offering them comfort and encouragement to keep going during a very vulnerable state. Amy overall is an amazing nurse and someone who is truly an asset to this unit.
