Hunterdon Health recently awarded a nurse, an employee, and two volunteers with the Wescott Award. This honor is bestowed each year to an individual who by their example epitomizes Hunterdon Health’s culture and commitment to the health and well-being of the community. These individuals demonstrate the organizations’ values of being accountable, adaptive, authentic, inclusive, committed, and empowered which have made a positive difference in the lives of others.
The 2023 Wescott awards went to registered nurse, Susan Wade, MSN, Maternity and Newborn Care Center, the volunteer award went to, Tom and Carol Haythorn, Hunterdon Hospice volunteers who make memory bears for families, and the employee award was presented to Christopher Valk, LSW, Clinical Coordinator, Hunterdon Behavioral Health.
