Dr. Branton is an experienced family medicine physician who offers a variety of primary care and integrative medicine services at Hunterdon Family Medicine at Delaware Valley.
Dr. Branton is board-certified in family medicine with additional training and certification in medical acupuncture and functional medicine. After earning her osteopathic medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Branton completed her family medicine residency training at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital at Fort Belvoir, VA while also serving as a captain in the US Air Force. She continued her Air Force career at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada where she also served as the Primary Care Pain Champion for seven primary care clinics across Nellis and Creech Air Force Bases. Over the course of her four years at Nellis, she attained the rank of Major and travelled to many places including Germany, Niger, Burkina Faso, and Nigeria. She additionally completed training in medical acupuncture through Acus/Helms Medical Institute, frequency specific microcurrent, Calmare® Pain Therapy, Alpha-Stim Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation, and functional medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine.
Dr. Branton has honed her osteopathic manipulation skills over the course of her career, using OMT to treat many different conditions. She has special interest in treating patients in a functional way, emphasizing lifestyle modifications to improve health and promote wellness. She’s passionate about disease prevention, and providing holistic care while offering non-traditional treatment approaches to a wide variety of conditions including chronic pain, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, anxiety/depression, insomnia, menopause and hormone imbalances, irritable bowel syndrome, and autoimmune diseases.
