Having a family physician for a father, Michael was exposed to medicine at a young age. He witnessed second-hand the extraordinary rewards of being a leader, a servant, and a model to the community. He decided to pursue a career in medicine and went off to work as a scribe in an Emergency Room before beginning his medical journey at Penn State University. It was there he discovered his passion for family medicine and his love for the long-lasting relationships developed in the field. Spending a lot of time in competitive sports and suffering several injuries, Michael developed a particular interest in Sports Medicine. He hopes to improve his proficiency in the respective field and use it to advocate adolescent preventative health and play an integral role in caring for his local community. In his free time, Michael likes to be active and spends a lot of his time snowboarding, playing tennis and basketball, and playing with his dog Zoey.
