Liezl joined Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center in 2020 as a Nurse Navigator. She helps coordinate care for all patients with a known or suspected cancer diagnosis. Liezl has her chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification and is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS). Liezl is the co-chair for NWESC (Nursing Workplace Environment and Staffing Council) and was selected to be a member of the Nurse Management Council Committee for Hunterdon Medical Center.

Liezl has worked in critical care environments as a Registered Nurse at Morristown Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel’s Emergency Departments and on the Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care Unit at Newark Beth Israel, caring for patients post-open heart and lung transplant surgeries. Liezl transitioned into a Valve Clinic Coordinator position in the Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center, which was named #1 in NJ and Top 5 program in the U.S. in 2019.
