Awards and Honors
- Dr. Pepek served as a medical officer for the United States Navy and after completing a surgery internship he deployed to Iraq with the U.S. Navy Seabees during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was the medical officer for the Marine Corps Chemical Biological Incident Response Force in Indian Head, Maryland. Dr. Pepek also served as chief resident during his residency and has presented his research at national meetings and has authored a number of peer reviewed journal articles. Dr. Pepek’s professional memberships include the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Radiation Oncology.
