Janice Pellegrino is a graduate of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She worked as a student then briefly as a pharmacist in West Hudson Hospital in Kearny, NJ. After relocating to Flemington, NJ, Janice joined Hunterdon Medical Center as a Staff Pharmacist. Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to Assistant Director. Janice enjoys her role as Assistant Director and is able to establish a closer relationship with the pharmacy staff. In addition, Janice is a preceptor for doctor of pharmacy students and is able to provide an extensive opportunity to learn various performance improvement activities. Mrs. Pellegrino has served as a residency preceptor for the Pharmacy Practice Management rotation for the PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and the PGY-2 Pharmacotherapy Residency Programs. Residents on rotation participate in various managerial activities including, scheduling, orientation and educating new hires, performance improvement, control drug substance ordering, and monitoring. Mrs. Pellegrino spends her free time with her family. Her husband and sons are quite involved with travel ice hockey. She and her daughter train and compete for 3-day event horses. They are also involved with horse-related committees and have published several articles related to the sport.
