Dr. Beata E. Wrobel received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Prior to pharmacy school, she attended Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. After graduation, Dr. Wrobel worked at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA as a Staff Pharmacist and then as an Anticoagulation Specialist. While there, she developed and implemented a pharmacy-managed protocol for recovering joint replacement patients that earned an Innovative and Collaborative Practice Award from the Pennsylvania Society of Health System Pharmacists (PSHP). In addition, she has also worked as an Emergency Room Clinical Pharmacist at Doylestown Hospital in PA which allowed her to provide effective patient care through one on one patient interaction in regards to medication reconciliation and education. She feels that educating patients on their medications empowers them to overcome barriers to adherence, improves patient safety and helps promote positive patient outcomes. She is the Transition of Care Clinical Pharmacist at Hunterdon Medical Center and oversees the medication reconciliation pharmacy technician program. Dr. Wrobel serves as the preceptor for the Transitions of Care rotation offered to both PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents. During her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, especially the beach and spending time with her family.
