Austin developed his interest in family medicine before starting medical school. When he worked for a family medicine practice as a scribe, Austin had the opportunity to see the positive impact that primary care could have on a community. The most appealing aspects of family medicine to him are the focus on preventive care and the formation of long-term relationships with his patients. Austin hopes to bring the same high-quality care to Hunterdon Health. In his free time, Austin enjoys walking his dog, weightlifting, and playing chess.
